I made this owl pincushion for a door prize at church. I thought the little guy turned out great and he felt right at home in my sewing room. He liked hanging out with the stinkbugs and spider webs. (Picture Hunt: Find the stinkbug.) My favorite detail was the little knobby knees that were made from tying a knot in his legs.
Did you READ what I said? I said that the owl had knobby knees on his legs!! I mean it was a cute detail and I didn't notice for a long time...but...owls don't HAVE long legs!
I was so confused. Why did they put flamingo legs on an owl? Is a cute detail worth making a mixed up bird? Should I still give it away even if it's weird?
In the end, I didn't really give a hoot. He can still be used as a pincushion and he still looks cute on a shelf.

I think he's adorable! I love the different designs on clothes and material with owls on them. Don't know why-it's just cute.
