What's in your head?

I want to know. What is your favorite song right now? Why? Does it give you goosebumps? Make you cry? Make you dance?

Here's mine.

For What It's Worth (Album) - Sidewalk Prophets

Actually it's the whole album, but if I am picking one, then it's this one. Any song that quotes Isaiah 40:31 is a winner in my book. If I could recommend you walking into Lifeway and buying one CD, I would tell you this one. I love every song on it. And that's pretty rare.

Have a great Wednesday....

Good song! I've never heard of them, but I like it!

Without a doubt, the song that always gets me is Kathryn Scott's At the Foot of the Cross. After hearing it for the first time on the Resolved to Worship blog, I downloaded it, put it on replay and listened to it an entire day. :)

I love Sidewalk Prophets --"The words I would say" :)

The song that means the world to me is "While I'm Waiting" by John Waller...While recently going through this whole church issue and then mom with reoccuring cancer--this has been our theme song! "I WILL serve You while I'm waiting..." so many things in life I'm "waiting" on....Praise God He is still working and making some of those things come about. I'm trying to "patiently wait" for His return!!! OH how i long to see Jesus!!

love in HIM

awesome song! such an incredible heartfelt message.....
right now I'm hooked on Rush of Fools' 'Wonder of the World' album....too many favorites on there! But if I have to pick one, it'd probably be 'Holy One'. OH, and it makes me do ALL those things (goosebumps, cry, dance, etc!)
Also love Tenth Avenue North's 'Beloved'......

It's so hard for me to pick a favorite song...I LOVE music and there are so many to choose from...I love Barlow Girl's "Never Alone"...Third Day is my favorite band...I would have to say right now, today, though it would have to be the one I just listened to,by sidewalk prophets, called "Show me how to Love"... to hear it...click on Joni's song and there will be a list of their other songs...it's number 2...take a moment and listen...I promise it will speak to you...Lord show us how to love...starting with me!!! Thanks again for your posts Joni!! Love you

Mine is a little late but... Chris Rice, Untitled Hymn..It just could bring me to tears everytime I hear it. I will never forget that was the song that played during the "invitation night" the first time I really helped out with VBS at church. They did a little skit to that song and just seeing and being a part of little children really understanding what giving your heart to God means ... chills chills chills!
