Stop in here and meet Eve if you don't know her yet.
It is Eve's birthday and she really wants to wear her favorite skirt.
But there is one small problem.
It has a rip in it. It has been mended, but the scar remains.
You know Eve. She doesn't want to admit she ate the fruit. She wants to look perfect on the outside, even though in her heart she is just like everyone else. What will people think of her if they notice her flaws?
The reality is, she is still a sinner. She has many flaws. But Adam still loves her. And more importantly, so does her Creator.
The scars? They only show that she has been healed.

o.k. so it's Eve's birthday and her friend forgets that it's today...as Eve looks down and see's the rip in her skirt, she realizes it will leave a scar...but after much pondering and meditation, she knows that the scar in her skirt will never run as deep as the scar on her heart from her friend forgetting her special day...enter...satan...who offers her the fruits of bitterness, anger and hurt...don't eat them,Eve, don't eat them...
Regina... you are forgiven. I had the best laugh when I realized you thought my birthday was Friday! It was perhaps my favorite gift.... getting to play a joke on you, my friend.
