I can never gather my thoughts into a clever post after a long weekend, so I present you with a little randomness...
Friday:
Spider spotted on porch.
Nate failed in killing it, he promises me that it's long gone.
I think it's under my porch cackling...
Date night, children included
We did it again. We always see families out together on Friday nights holding hands and linking arms and we think it looks like fun. So we attempt it. And then I remember the only reason we link arms and hold hands is to keep Finn from running in the parking lot and to keep the boys separated so they don't spend the whole evening picking on each other. Don't tell me that it's a blast to go to Target and out to eat with kids, I will not believe you.
We found another restaurant that we like better/equal to Fork in the Alley, which I never thought would happen...
Been there, done that, bought the new style t-shirt to prove it...
Two Tines the Fun
Saturday:
Drew's team won their soccer game for the first time this season.
I'll just let you guess who scored 2 out of 5 goals...
Sunday:
Twin Oaks church service at Philpott Lake.
Great weather, great sermon, great fun, great food, great people...
...the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net that was cast into the (lake)...
Drew and Ferguson

joni, i could somehow see it in your eyes yesterday that surely something would be posted about the twin oaks picnic....sure enough! BUT the spider could have been left off and how about that little lakelyn clara welch?! she was born into the most heavenly family. God bless them all.
Thanks for posting our Wild Olive button. You have been entered into our giveaway!
I am not sure I would have been able to sleep after seeing that spider. YIKES!
Blessings!

That spider picture just makes me itch. And pick my feet up off the carpeted floor of my office in case there's one like that around here. {Shiver!}
I'm confused. The date on your post is May 31, but I'm pretty sure that today is June 2. I keep hitting the refresh button but nothing is happening. Any suggestions?
i can post now --------you go girlie!

About Target...my middle son has an absolute meltdown nearly every time we go there. Not like "I don't want to go to Target". No, once we get inside he has a temper tantrum of some sort. Then one of my friends suggested to me it might be all the red that is in there? Have you ever heard of such a thing? Loved the post on the church, by the way. Very eloquent.
